Treasure Contents
Opening and hosing off the booty – lots of very sticky sweets and chocolates – not worth much now ....
Ol' Capn' Jobes Treasure - Found!
The mystery is over – the treasure has been found.
It seems that 2 forces have combined to bring the long hidden treasure to light.
Bush turkeys were seen in the area and had been digging wildly – obviously something in the treasure was to a birds liking!
They may have unearthed it – but those damn rubbish bin clips are pretty hard to open with a beak and a couple of skinny claws!
So it was left on the surface to be taken by a tide – but no! The legged tree did its job and kept it local – washed backwards and forwards ensuring all the contents were wet!
And that is how the crew of MV Destiny found it – lying in the dry creek bed – still closed but full of water!
More photos to follow of the mysterious contents .....
